- Alpine Bank reached $200 million in assets and celebrated the milestone by donating $20,000 to non-profit agencies in the community.

- Alpine Bank was named Business of the Year – Northwest Region by the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry.
1973
- Alpine Bank was founded in Carbondale by Bob Young. The ribbon for the grand opening was fashioned from silver and presented along with a sizable donation to the Carbondale city park service. Thus began the spirit of community that continues to be such a part of Alpine Bank’s culture.
